Purton, John David Hazel

 

A labourer from Ulverstone Tasmania he embarked Melbourne 28th February 1918 on board “HMAT Nestor” with the 12th Infantry Battalion.

He was wounded in the buttocks and foot in August 1918 in France and  died 11th January 1919 from complications arising from his wounds and was buried in the Netley Military Cemetery, United Kingdom.
