Reid, James Saward

Born 21^st September 1895 Stanley Tasmania the son of Henry Murray and Hannah Maria Reid (nee Saward) a labourer he enlisted Claremont Tasmania and embarked Hobart 13^th December 1915 on board “HMAT Ajana” with the 26^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 29^th July 1916 at Moquet Farm (previously reported missing) and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, Picardie, France
