Rex, Roy Hugh

Born Hobart Tasmania the son of Ada Mary Lawrence Rex a 23 year old motor driver he enlisted Moore Park New South Wales and embarked Melbourne 22^nd December 1916 on board “HMAT Persic” with the Auxiliary Mechanical Transport Company.

He was serving with the 6th M T Company Australian Army Service Corps when he was killed in action 28^th October 1916 and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, Picardie, France
