Rex, Percy Hugh
Born 21st February 1880 Hobart Tasmania to George Woodcock and Selina Jane Rex (nee Gracie) a miner and prospector who embarked Melbourne 22nd December 1914 on board “HMAT Ceramic” with the 15th Infantry Battalion. He was mortally wounded 20th May 1915 on the Gallipoli Peninsula and died 24th May 1915 on the hospital ship “Galeka” and was buried on Lemnos Island. He is commemorated on the Lone Pine Memorial, Gallipoli, Turkey.
