Ribbon Charles

Born 1889 Port Cygnet Tasmania the son of John and Margaret Ribbon (nee Dillon) a miner he enlisted and embarked New Zealand with the 2^nd Battalion 6^th Reinforcements

He was serving with the Machine Gun Squadron Mounted Rifle Brigade when he died 27^th March 1917 in Palestine from wounds received in the field and was buried in the Deir El Belah War Cemetery, Deir El Belah, Israel
