Richardson, Mark William

 

 

Born 29th May 1899 Hobart Tasmania the son of James Edward and Ellen Richardson (nee Kerr) a farm assistant he embarked Melbourne 28th February 1918 on board “HMAT Nestor” with the 12th Infantry Battalion.  His father stated that he had to endure two painful operations before he was accepted into the military.

 

He was killed in action 23rd August 1918 in France and is commemorated in the Heath Cemetery, Harbonnieres, Amiens Harbonnieres Area, France
