Rigby Aubrey John

Born 26^th December 1893 Nile Tasmania to John and Grace Ann Rigby (nee Higgins) a farm labourer who departed Hobart 1^st July 1916 on board “HMAT Berrima” with the 40^th Infantry Battalion.

He was serving with the 49^th Battalion when he was killed in action 7^th April 1917 and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France
