Roach, Clifford James

 

Born 1895 Longford Tasmania the son of William Barry and Clara Ellen Roach (nee Saunders) a labourer he embarked Hobart 1st July 1916 on board “HMAT Berrima” with the 40th Infantry Battalion.

He died 17th August 1916 at sea on the way to England from pneumonia and is commemorated on the Hollybrook Memorial, Southampton, United Kingdom.
