Roach, Clifford James

Born 1895 Longford Tasmania the son of William Barry and Clara Ellen Roach (nee Saunders) a labourer he embarked Hobart 1^st July 1916 on board “HMAT Berrima” with the 40^th Infantry Battalion.

He died 17^th August 1916 at sea on the way to England from pneumonia and is commemorated on the Hollybrook Memorial, Southampton, United Kingdom.
