Robinson, Athol Gordon

 

 

Born 1897 Triabunna Tasmania the son of Harry and Jane Robinson (nee Pearce) a labourer he embarked Melbourne 5th January 1916 on board “HMAT Afric” with the 12th Infantry Battalion.

 

He was killed in action 19th August 1916 (previously reported missing) at Moquet Farm and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, Picardie, France.
