Robinson, John

Born Moyhu Victoria the son of William and Phoebe Robinson Whitfield Victoria a miner living at North Lyell Tasmania who embarked Hobart Tasmania 20^th October 1914 on board “HMAT Geelong” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He was serving with the 47^th Battalion when he was killed in action 12^th October 1917 in Belgium and is commemorated on the The Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial
