Rogers, John Raymond

 

 

 

Born 1898 Cygnet Tasmania the son of John David and Mary Ellen Rogers (nee Guy) a horse driver he embarked Adelaide 10th February 1917 on board “HMAT Seang Bee” with the 40th Infantry Battalion.

 

He was killed in action 9th December 1917 at Warneton and is commemorated in the Berks Cemetery Extension, Comines-Warneton, Hainaut, Belgium.
