Ross George Charles

Born 23^rd January 1896 Richmond Tasmania the son of George Lawrence and Maria Eliza Ross (nee Keats) of Campbell Town he was a stoker on “HMAS Brisbane and was one of the landing party at Rabaul.

He died 29^th April 1917 from pneumonia in the Arabian Gulf and was buried at sea. He is commemorated on the Plymouth Naval Memorial, United Kingdom.
