Ross George Charles
Born 23rd January 1896 Richmond Tasmania the son of George Lawrence and Maria Eliza Ross (nee Keats) of Campbell Town he was a stoker on “HMAS Brisbane and was one of the landing party at Rabaul. He died 29th April 1917 from pneumonia in the Arabian Gulf and was buried at sea. He is commemorated on the Plymouth Naval Memorial, United Kingdom.
