Ross, Wallace Douglas Guthrie
Born Victoria but married and living in Tasmania when he enlisted, a surveyor who departed Brisbane 29th June 1915 on board “HMAT Aeneas” with the 26th Infantry Battalion. He was killed in action 29th July 1916 Sausage Gully, (near Pozieres) and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France.
