Rossington, George Matthew

Born Manchester England but living in Lindsifarne Tasmania the son of John and Elizabeth Rossington a linesman he embarked Hobart 1^st July 1916 on board “HMAT Berrima” with the 40^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 11^th April 1917 (previously reported missing) at Bullecourt France and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, Picardie, France
