Studio portrait of 2500 Private (Pte) Angus Raven Rudd, 7th Reinforcements, 12th Battalion, of Orford, Tas. Pte Rudd enlisted on 9 July 1915 and embarked aboard HMAT Persia in Melbourne on 10 August 1915. He was serving with the 51st Battalion when he was wounded at Polygon Wood on 27 September 1917. He died in Brighton Hospital, England on 2 December 1917
