RUFFELS, CLANCY VERNON

Grave of 3333 Trooper (Tpr) Clancy Vernon Ruffels (mis-spelt as Ruffles on cross), 27th Reinforcements, 3rd Light Horse Regiment, of Forest, Tas. A labourer prior to enlisting on 9 November 1917, he embarked from Sydney aboard HMAT Port Sydney on 9 May 1917. Tpr Ruffles died of malaria on 12 October 1918, in Palestine, aged 18 years
