Sale, Aubrey Townsend
Born Burnie Tasmania, the son of William R Sale, an orchardist who departed Fremantle 25th June 1915 on board “HMAT Wandilla” with the 12th Infantry Battalion.
He was with the 1st Division Salvage Company when he contracted pneumonia and passed away at the 18th Casualty Clearing Station. He was buried at the military cemetery St Omer with full military honours.
