Sale, Aubrey Townsend

Born Burnie Tasmania, the son of William R Sale, an orchardist who departed Fremantle 25^th June 1915 on board “HMAT Wandilla” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He was with the 1^st Division Salvage Company when he contracted pneumonia and passed away at the 18^th Casualty Clearing Station.  He was buried at the military cemetery St Omer with full military honours.
