Salisbury, Cecil Norman

 

 

Born 1895 Hobart Tasmania the son of John and Amy Florence Salisbury (nee Livingston) a teacher he embarked Melbourne 10th September 1915 on board SS Makarini with the 12th Infantry Battalion.

 

He was appointed Lance Corporal 1st February 1916.

 

He was serving with the 52nd Battalion when he was killed in action 10th July 1916 at Armentieres France and is commemorated in the Rue-Petillon Military Cemetery, Fleurbaix, Bethune, Nord Pas de Calais, France.  He is also commemorated on his parents grave at Cornelian Bay Cemetery, Hobart Tasmania.
