Salmon, Colin Gordon

Born 22^nd June 1889 Launceston Tasmania the son of John and Clara Salmon (nee Nichols) he embarked Melbourne 25^th October 1916 on board “HMAT Ulysses” with the 40^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 28^th March 1918 in France when he and several others were hit by a shell He is commemorated in the Heilly Station Cemetery, Mericourt-L'Abbe, Peronne, France
