Scanlon Patrick

 

 

 

Born 1896 Port Cygnet Tasmania the son of Michael and Ellen Scanlon (nee Brereton) a bushman e embarked Melbourne 21st November 1917 on board “HMAT Nestor” with the 4th Machine Gun Company.

 

He was serving with the 12th Battalion when he was killed in action 23rd August 1918 and is commemorated in the Heath Cemetery, Harbonnieres, Amiens Harbonnieres Area, France
