Scanlon Patrick

Born 1896 Port Cygnet Tasmania the son of Michael and Ellen Scanlon (nee Brereton) a bushman e embarked Melbourne 21^st November 1917 on board “HMAT Nestor” with the 4^th Machine Gun Company.

He was serving with the 12^th Battalion when he was killed in action 23^rd August 1918 and is commemorated in the Heath Cemetery, Harbonnieres, Amiens Harbonnieres Area, France
