SCHOLES, HERBERT WALTER

Sapper (Spr) Herbert Walter Scholes, 3 Australian Tunneling Company, AIF. Spr Scholes enlisted in Beaconsfield, Tasmania on 26 September 1915. He served on the Western Front and died of wounds on 18 March 1918, he was 40 years of age. He is buried at Hersin Communal Cemetery Extension in France.
