Scott, Douglas

Born Bothwell Tasmania the son of Charles Spicknell and and Margaret Eleanor Scott (nee Ringrose) a labourer living at Lindisfarne Tasmania he embarked Melbourne 27^th October 1915 on board “HMAT Ulysses” with the 15^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 11^th April 1917 in France and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, Picardie, France
