Scull, William
Born 23rd June 1894 Longley Tasmania the son of William Frederick and Margaret Isobel Scull (nee Ling) a blacksmith he embarked Melbourne 6th December 1916 on board “HMAT Orsova” with the 40th Infantry Battalion.
He had previously enlisted 16th June 1915 with the 26th Infantry Battalion but was discharged 11th October 1915 as being unsuitable.
He died 14th July 1918 at the 47th Casualty Clearing Station France from gunshot wounds to right thigh, right ankle and penis with a fractured femur and was buried in the Crouy British Cemetery.
