Seabourne William

Born 1895 Esperance Tasmania the son of John and Catherine Seabourne (nee Daniels) a labourer he enlisted Claremont Tasmania and embarked Sydney 31^st March 1916 on board “HMAT Star if Victoria” with the 8^th Field Company Engineers.

He returned to Australia 17^th December 1918

He died 8^th July 1920 Dover Tasmania

(From Our Own Correspondent).

Another of our returned soldiers — Jas. William Seabourne died on the 8th July after a long and painful illness the result of being gassed while on active service. Deceased was only 24 years of age, and was liked by all who knew him. He was a son of Mr. John Seabourne of Raminea, where they have lived for many years. The funeral took place on Saturday last, when a large number of people attended to pay their last respects to the deceased.
