Seabourne William
Born 1895 Esperance Tasmania the son of John and Catherine Seabourne (nee Daniels) a labourer he enlisted Claremont Tasmania and embarked Sydney 31st March 1916 on board “HMAT Star if Victoria” with the 8th Field Company Engineers. He returned to Australia 17th December 1918 He died 8th July 1920 Dover Tasmania DOVER (From Our Own Correspondent). Another of our returned soldiers — Jas. William Seabourne died on the 8th July after a long and painful illness the result of being gassed while on active service. Deceased was only 24 years of age, and was liked by all who knew him. He was a son of Mr. John Seabourne of Raminea, where they have lived for many years. The funeral took place on Saturday last, when a large number of people attended to pay their last respects to the deceased. Huon Times 16th July 1920
