Seabrook, Cyril Noel

 

Born 19th December 1896 Lansdowne Crescent Hobart Hobart Tasmania the fifth son of William and Eliza Seabrook (nee Lumsden) a carpenter who embarked Melbourne 15th September 1915 on board “SS Makarini” with the 3rd Field Artillery Brigade.

 

He was transferred to the 43rd Battery and was killed instantly 30th September 1917 when a piece of shell hit him in the head when he was in the gun pit.

 He is commemorated in the Reninghelst New Military Cemetery, Belgium.
