Seabrook, Cyril Noel

Born 19^th December 1896 Lansdowne Crescent Hobart Hobart Tasmania the fifth son of William and Eliza Seabrook (nee Lumsden) a carpenter who embarked Melbourne 15^th September 1915 on board “SS Makarini” with the 3^rd Field Artillery Brigade.

He was transferred to the 43^rd Battery and was killed instantly 30^th September 1917 when a piece of shell hit him in the head when he was in the gun pit.

He is commemorated in the Reninghelst New Military Cemetery, Belgium.
