Seymour, Hobart Alfred
Born 22nd October 1889 the son of James John and Isobel Sarah Seymour (nee Riley) a wood mill owner he embarked Hobart 20th October 1914 on board “HMAT Geelong” with the 3rd Light Horse Regiment
On the 26th August 1914 he was appointed Corporal
He died 12th August 1915 on board H.S “Gascon” from wounds received at the Gallipoli Peninsula and was buried at sea (gunshot wound to the left arm and gas gangrene) He is commemorated on the Lone Pine Memorial, Gallipoli Peninsula, Canakkale Province, Turkey
