Sharp, Frederick Harold

 

 

 

 

Born Surrey England the son of Arthur George Sharp of 20 Bellamy Street, Balham England but living and working in the Whitemore district as a farmer when he enlisted he embarked Hobart Tasmania on board “HMAT Berrima” with the 40th Infantry Battalion.

Lance Corporal Sharp was killed in action 13th October 1917 and is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium.
