Shaw John
Born Launceston Tasmania the son of Eva Florence Shaw a cabinetmaker he enlisted and embarked Sydney 17th March 1915 on board “HMAT Shropshire” with the 13th Infantry Battalion.
He was serving on the Gallipoli Peninsula when he was admitted to the 25th Casualty Clearing Station with enteritis on the 21st August 1915.
He died 28th August 1915 in St Andrew’s Hospital Malta from dysentery and was buried in the Addolorata Cemetery, Malta
