Shaw John

Born Launceston Tasmania the son of Eva Florence Shaw a cabinetmaker he enlisted and embarked Sydney 17^th March 1915 on board “HMAT Shropshire” with the 13^th Infantry Battalion.

He was serving on the Gallipoli Peninsula when he was admitted to the 25^th Casualty Clearing Station with enteritis on the 21^st August 1915.

He died 28^th August 1915 in St Andrew’s Hospital Malta from dysentery and was buried in the Addolorata Cemetery, Malta
