Shaw, John Alexander

A miner from Dawson Street Queenstown he listed his mother Mrs E Wordsworth of the same address as his next of kin he embarked Melbourne 17^th July 1915 on board “HMAT Orsova” with the 26^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 5^th August 1916 in France and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, Picardie, France
