Shephard Frank Lindsay
Born 1st September 1895 Bishopsbourne Tasmania to Samuel and Martha Ann Shephard (nee Sheriff) a labourer who departed Melbourne 10th November 1915 on board “HMAT Ascanius” with the 12th Infantry Battalion He served with the 52nd Battalion in Egypt and France and was assigned to the 51st Battalion when the 52nd disbanded. He died 29th August 1918 in the 53rd General Hospital Buologne France from pleurisy and was buried in the Terlincthun British Cemetery, Wimille, France.
