Shepheard, Mervyn Edgar

 MERVYN EDGAR SHEPHEARD

 

 

Born 18th June 1894 Ulverstone Tasmania to Thomas William and Ann Priscilla Shepheard (Hammant), a butcher he departed Hobart 8th August 1916 on board “HMAT Ballarat” with the 40th Intantry Battalion.

Lance Corporal Shepheard died 3rd October 1917 from gunshot wounds to the leg and perineum and was buried in the Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Belgium.
