Shepheard, Mervyn Edgar

Born 18^th June 1894 Ulverstone Tasmania to Thomas William and Ann Priscilla Shepheard (Hammant), a butcher he departed Hobart 8^th August 1916 on board “HMAT Ballarat” with the 40^th Intantry Battalion.

Lance Corporal Shepheard died 3^rd October 1917 from gunshot wounds to the leg and perineum and was buried in the Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Belgium.
