Sherlock, Charles Beresford
Born 7th December 1875 Launceston Tasmania to John Henry and Ann Sherlock (nee Hart) a salesman who embarked who embarked Melbourne 5th December 1914 on board “HMAT Kyarra” with the 1st Australian Clearing Hospital. Lance Corporal Sherlock served in Gallipoli but died 13th October 1915 in Egypt of enteric fever and was buried in the Alexandria (Chatby) Military and War Memorial Cemetery, Egypt.
