Sherlock, Charles Beresford

Born 7^th December 1875 Launceston Tasmania to John Henry and Ann Sherlock (nee Hart) a salesman who embarked who embarked Melbourne 5^th December 1914 on board “HMAT Kyarra” with the 1^st Australian Clearing Hospital.

Lance Corporal Sherlock served in Gallipoli but died 13^th October 1915 in Egypt of enteric fever and was buried in the Alexandria (Chatby) Military and War Memorial Cemetery, Egypt.
