Sherrin, Edwin Charles

Born 14^th February 1895 Hobart Tasmania to Frederick Augustus and Sarah Elizabeth Sherrin (nee Malone) he departed Hobart 1^st July 1916 on board “HMAT Berrima” with the 40^th Infantry Battalion.

Lance Corporal Sherrin died of wounds received in the battle of Ploegsteert Wood 6^th May 1917 and is buried in the Strand Military Cemetery, Belgium
