Sneddon Tasman

Born 1897 Hobart Tasmania the son of Thomas and Charlotte Ann Sneddon (nee Truswell) a labourer he enlisted and embarked Melbourne 10^th May 1915 on board “HMAT Euripides” with the 23^rd Infantry Battalion.

He served in Gallipoli until December 1915 and then onto France.

He was killed in action 28^th July 1916 at Pozieres in France and is commemorated in the Courcelette British Cemetery, Picardie, France
