Stacey, J.D and Stacey R.E

 

Born 12th June 1891 Nubeena Tasmania to James and Henrietta Stacey (nee Davis) a farmer who departed Brisbane 29th June 1915 on board “HMAT Aeneas” with the 26th Infantry Battalion.

 He had served in the Gallipoli campaign but died at the 8th Casualty Clearing Station France 28th April 1916 of pneumonia and was buried in the Bailleul Communal Cemetery Extension (Nord), France.
