Stanley, Arthur Clarence
Born 6th December 1890 Fingal Tasmania to Charles Hy Chin and Margaret Stanley (nee Poole) a surveyor who departed Melbourne 22nd December 1914 on board “HMAT Ceramic” with the 15th Infantry Battalion. He served in Gallipoli and Egypt before being killed in action 28th August 1916 in France and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France.
