Steadwell Maurice Alfred James

Born 4th August 1886 Launceston the son of William and Annie Steadwell (nee Spillane) a 27 year old farmer he served with the 40th Battalion and died 16th June 1918 from shell wounds to the thigh. He is commemorated in the Crouy British Cemetery France.
