Stein Thomas

 

 

He was born 1894 Kiama New South Wales to Reinis and Agnes Eliza Stein (nee Cain) but living with his family and working at Queenstown when he enlisted, a barber who embarked Melbourne 22nd December 1916 on board “HMAT Persic” with the 12th Infantry Battalion.

He died 19th September 1918 from wounds received on the field and was buried in the La Chapelette British and Indian Cemetery, Peronne, France.
