Stevens, Arthur Herbert Joseph

Born Ulverstone Tasmania the son of Alfred and Margaret Stevens (nee Biddle) married to Edith Ann Watson a 27 year old grocer living at Queenstown he embarked Melbourne 30^th September 1916 on board “HMAT Suffolk” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 9^th April 1917 in France and is commemorated on the Australian National Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, France
