Stevens, Arthur Herbert Joseph

Private Arthur Herbert Stevens

 

Born Ulverstone Tasmania the son of Alfred and Margaret Stevens (nee Biddle) married to Edith Ann Watson a 27 year old grocer living at Queenstown he embarked Melbourne 30th September 1916 on board “HMAT Suffolk” with the 12th Infantry Battalion.

 

He was killed in action 9th April 1917 in France and is commemorated on the Australian National Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, France
