Stewart, Eric Arthur

(Eric and Dave Stewart)

Born 23^rd November 1895 Risdonvale Tasmania to David and Amanda Stewart (nee Hart) a moulder who embarked Melbourne 10^th November 1915 on board “HMAT Ascanius” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He was serving with the 52^nd Battalion when he was killed in action 23^rd September 1917 and is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium.
