Stewart, Eric Arthur

 

(Eric and Dave Stewart)

 

Born 23rd November 1895 Risdonvale Tasmania to David and Amanda Stewart (nee Hart) a moulder who embarked Melbourne 10th November 1915 on board “HMAT Ascanius” with the 12th Infantry Battalion.

He was serving with the 52nd Battalion when he was killed in action 23rd September 1917 and is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium.
