Stubbs, Arthur Benjamin
Born 1889 Sheffield Tasmania the son of Abraham and Maria Stubbs (nee Pier)a labourer who embarked Melbourne 30th September 1916 on board “HMAT Palermo” with the 12th Infantry Battalion. He died 22nd September 1917 at the 10th Casualty Clearing Station from shrapnel wounds to the chest and was buried in the Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Belgium.
