Taber, Albert Charles
Born 3rd August 1889 Longford Tasmania to Charles Alfred and Emmeline Taber (nee Williams) and married to Isabella Ida Hall, a carpenter who departed Hobart 8th August 1916 on board “HMAT Ballarat” with the 40th Infantry Battalion. He was killed in action at Ypres 4th October 1917 and is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium.
