Tait Lawerence
Lawerence Tait enlisted at Claremont Tasmania. A steward from Rotherwood Kurrabille North Sydney he listed his sister Mrs E Tabe as his next of kin and he embarked Melbourne 19th February 1915 on board “HMAT Runic” with the 15th Infantry Battalion. He was killed in action 5th May 1915 (previously reported missing) on the Gallipoli Peninsula and is commemorated in Quinn's Post Cemetery, Gallipoli Peninsula, Canakkale Province, Turkey
