Tait Lawerence

Lawerence Tait enlisted at Claremont Tasmania.

A steward from Rotherwood Kurrabille North Sydney he listed his sister Mrs E Tabe as his next of kin and he embarked Melbourne 19^th February 1915 on board “HMAT Runic” with the 15^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 5^th May 1915 (previously reported missing) on the Gallipoli Peninsula and is commemorated in Quinn's Post Cemetery, Gallipoli Peninsula, Canakkale Province, Turkey
