Taylor, Allan Archibald

Born 30^th September 1891 Launceston Tasmania the son of Allen and Sarah Taylor (nee Tandy) married to Elsie May Lees, a 24 year old baker he embarked Melbourne 21^st October 1916 on board “HMAT Port Melbourne” with the 40^th Infantry Battalion.

Lance Sergeant Taylor was killed in action 13^th October 1917 at Passchendaele and is commemorated in the Tyne Cot Cemetery (Plot XXII, Row G, Grave No. 22), Passchendaele, Belgium
