Taylor, Allan Archibald
Born 30th September 1891 Launceston Tasmania the son of Allen and Sarah Taylor (nee Tandy) married to Elsie May Lees, a 24 year old baker he embarked Melbourne 21st October 1916 on board “HMAT Port Melbourne” with the 40th Infantry Battalion.
Lance Sergeant Taylor was killed in action 13th October 1917 at Passchendaele and is commemorated in the Tyne Cot Cemetery (Plot XXII, Row G, Grave No. 22), Passchendaele, Belgium
