Taylor Eric James

Born 1894 Hobart Tasmania the son of James Coles and Mary Ann Taylor (nee Venn) a jeweller he enlisted and embarked Fremantle 2^nd November 1914 on board “HMAT Medic” with the 3^rd Field Artillery Brigade.

He was killed in action 5^th August 1915 on the Gallipoli Peninsula and is commemorated in the Shell Green Cemetery, Gallipoli Peninsula, Canakkale Province, Turkey
