Taylor Eric James 

 

Born 1894 Hobart Tasmania the son of James Coles and Mary Ann Taylor (nee Venn) a jeweller he enlisted and embarked Fremantle 2nd November 1914 on board “HMAT Medic” with the 3rd Field Artillery Brigade.

 

He was killed in action 5th August 1915 on the Gallipoli Peninsula and is commemorated in the Shell Green Cemetery, Gallipoli Peninsula, Canakkale Province, Turkey
