Thollar, William Henry

Born 1892 Campbell Town Tasmania the son of Henry and Christina Thollar (nee Gray)and a member of the staff of the Weekly Courier Launceston he embarked Hobart 8^th August 1916 on board “HMAT Ballarat” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 8^th October 1917 and is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium.
