Thollar, William Henry

 

 

 

Born 1892 Campbell Town Tasmania the son of Henry and Christina Thollar (nee Gray)and a member of the staff of the Weekly Courier Launceston he embarked Hobart 8th August 1916 on board “HMAT Ballarat” with the 12th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 8th October 1917 and is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium.
