Thompson, Norman

Born Lady Bay Tasmania the son of Edward and Olive Thompson a labourer he embarked Melbourne 18^th February 1916 on board “HMAT Ballarat” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He was serving with the110th Howitzer Battery 10th Brigade Australian Field Artillery when he died 6^th November 1918 at the 9^th General Hospital in France from broncho pneumonia and was buried in the St Sever Cemetery Extension, Rouen, Seine Maritime, France
