Thompson, Norman

 

 

Born Lady Bay Tasmania the son of Edward and Olive Thompson a labourer he embarked Melbourne 18th February 1916 on board “HMAT Ballarat” with the 12th Infantry Battalion.

 

He was serving with the110th Howitzer Battery 10th Brigade Australian Field Artillery when he died 6th November 1918 at the 9th General Hospital in France from broncho pneumonia and was buried in the St Sever Cemetery Extension, Rouen, Seine Maritime, France
