Torphy, Albert John

Born 21^st June 1893 Launceston Tasmania the son of John David and Alice Bertha Torphy (nee Keegan) he embarked Fremantle 25^th June 1915 on board “HMAT Wandilla” with the 12^th Infantry Battalioon.

He was killed in action 6^th April 1917 in France and is commemorated in the Queant Road Cemetery, Buissy, Pas de Calais, France.
