Torphy, Albert John

 

 

 

Born 21st June 1893 Launceston Tasmania the son of John David and Alice Bertha Torphy (nee Keegan) he embarked Fremantle 25th June 1915 on board “HMAT Wandilla” with the 12th Infantry Battalioon.

 

He was killed in action 6th April 1917 in France and is commemorated in the Queant Road Cemetery, Buissy, Pas de Calais, France.
