Turner, Arthur Douglas

Born 12^th January 1886 Oatlands Tasmania to Amos and Emily Turner (nee Claydon) and married to Ina Maud Hurd when he enlisted.

He embarked Melbourne 25^th May 1916 on “HMAT Warilda” with the No 2^nd Australian Tunnelling Company and 1 Reinforcements

He was wounded in France and died of those wounds in the United Kingdom 21^st. January 1917.

He was buried in the Netley Military Cemetery United Kingdom
