Turner, Arthur Douglas
Born 12th January 1886 Oatlands Tasmania to Amos and Emily Turner (nee Claydon) and married to Ina Maud Hurd when he enlisted. He embarked Melbourne 25th May 1916 on “HMAT Warilda” with the No 2nd Australian Tunnelling Company and 1 Reinforcements He was wounded in France and died of those wounds in the United Kingdom 21st. January 1917. He was buried in the Netley Military Cemetery United Kingdom
