Twining, Thomas Alex

 

 

Born 1896 Deloraine Tasmania the son of James Thomas and Maria Twining (nee Wilson) he embarked Hobart 8th August 1916 on board “HMAT Ballarat” with the 12th Infantry Battalion.

 

He died 23rd September 1917 at the 10th Casualty Clearing Station Belgium from gunshot wounds to the thigh chest and back and was buried in Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Belgium THOMAS ALEC TWINING
